This is a frequently asked question around here. So you love designer bags but don’t have the cash or either can’t justify that purchase… I get it. To be honest it’s a topic I go back and forth on myself. Enter…. designer dupes!
Morally it’s a fine line. I do appreciate the style of a designer logo repurposed or recreated for less money. Not everyone is made of money so live your life. If you want a dupe… so get you a dupe ? It’s 2020 and basically this whole year has been a hot mess. If that fake bag makes you smile then you deserve it.
It used to be you could only find designer imitations in Chinatown where the transaction was more shady than a drug deal. I tried one time to snag a fake bag in NYC and the “dealer” ran off, literally on foot, because a police car was driving by. Let’s face it…. orange is no one’s color and I wouldn’t last a minute in the big house. That was enough to change my mind.
I kept seeing the cutest bags on Amazon. Those are never around long. Sometimes it’s only a matter of minutes before the link is disabled. Enter Walmart… yes, WALMART! You would not believe the bags I have seen on their website lately. How long will it last? Heck if I know so shop quick my friends.
If you are against this and want nothing to do with this post… I get it. I have other posts linking affordable fashion finds.
But for those of you cheap rebels… kidding (sorta)… I present to you… Designer Bag Dupes by Walmart!
Designer Dupe #1
This makeup bag is the best way to dip your toe into the world of dupes. I am a big fan of the subtle checkered print aside from the fact that is looks similar to the LV Damier azur print. I think it is clean and neutral. You can mix and match it with other prints. Not to mention it is less that $25!
Designer Dupe #2
This duffel is the perfect size for a weekend away. I don’t know about you but the last thing I am going to do is spend a ton of money on luggage only for it to be destroyed. This is a great option and your heart won’t be completely broken if this $58 bag gets a few scuffs. I have the real deal and the size is perfect but I end up lugging it around the airport because I am scared to check it. We have all peeked out of the airplane window and seen them throwing around bags like Ms Trunchbull threw the little girl by her pigtails. It is shocking TBH. Here’s your solution!
Designer Dupe #3
This wallet is less than $20 and would be worth every penny! It is slim and compact. Yet is still big enough to hold your change, cards and ID. The snap closure is a great addition making your cards are less likely to fall out.
Designer Dupe #4
This hobo bag… It is available in 2 prints. Eh, not a fan of the other print. To be honest it is a little too close to looking like a monogram print fail without looking like the actual monogram print. I really prefer the Damier print because it isn’t trying to hard and still looks classic and timeless. This is similar to the Artsy by LV. I had this style in LV but returned it. I could have saved time by ordering this bag and giving it a test run.
Designer Dupe #5
This Backpack dimensions are: 11”L X 13”H X 5.5”D. It is roomy enough hold your books, iPad, cell phone, wallet, umbrella, glasses case, cosmetic etc. I wouldn’t get this for my teen to take to school because it wouldn’t hold her laptop. It would be so cute as a purse when traveling or small diaper bag.
Designer Dupe #6
This shoulder bag is EVERYWHERE! I have seen boutiques carry it for twice this price. Here she is… Miss Americaaaaaa. If you want this you better grab it now because once the ladies find out it is less than $48 it will sell out! Guaranteed.
Designer Dupe #7
The small bag you can put inside of your big bag. Does anyone else do this? Just me? Oh perfect. This cute little clutch has a chain strap and would be great for quick trips into the store or long shopping hauls. I love the strap and would wear this with a sweater and jeans.
Designer Dupe #8
Another small bag but this time without the chain strap. This is the bag you can shove more things in than you realize. It can be worn across your body for comfort and security.
Just a fun fact… Designer knockoffs/counterfeits are illegal! They are infringements of a designer’s design. I suggest you stay aware of the difference as a consumer. I would recommend steering away from exact duplicates and grabbing an obvious fake version OR save up for the real thing. There are a ton of resale sites where you can buy second hand.
